Description

The British "Operation Compass", which began on December 9, 1940, forced the Italians in North Africa to withdraw. Hitler felt a sense of crisis and decided to send the German-African Corps to North Africa in February 1941. The Afrika Korps, commanded by Lommel, immediately launched a counterattack and quickly besieged Tobruk, Libya. The British army, on the other hand, launches "Operation Crusader" with the aim of opening Tobruk. From November to December 1941, the battle between the two armies began.

“Desert warfare is similar to naval warfare. It's a maneuver warfare without a clear front. It's more about the strength of the destroyed enemies than the size of the occupied land."

This sentence is the words of designer Ginichiro Suzuki in the introductory part of the appendix game "Desert Fox"Rulebook. This domestic war simulation game released by Epoch Wreck Company is based on the concept of enjoying the true enjoyment of maneuver warfare by concealing troops, which is rare in ground warfare. You can fully enjoy the atmosphere.

In producing the new edition, we respected the content published in 1981 and clarified it as necessary. Also, regarding changes related to game balance, "selection rules" are adopted in the rules. The processing is such that you can experience the atmosphere and goodness of those days.

In this magazine, you can enjoy a different atmosphere centering on the work and achievements of game designer Ginichiro Suzuki, and as a special project, "Simulator" in Command Magazine. Has been revived (P29-P56 in this magazine is the part, not the separate booklet).

This is a Japanese-Language item and comes with no English components unless stated in the condition note.
