Hordes was Warmachine's fully compatible sister game with the same rules engine, same competitive ecosystem, with warlords channeling the fury of massive warbeasts rather than the focus mechanics of warcasters. Originally launched by Privateer Press in 2006, Hordes ran as a parallel game line through MkI, MkII, and MkIII before its factions were fully absorbed into Warmachine with the MkIV edition in 2022.
The classic Hordes factions, including the Trollbloods, Circle Orboros, Legion of Everblight, and Skorne, are among the most beloved in the Iron Kingdoms community and remain highly collectible. Their models are now Armies of Legend within MkIV, meaning they are no longer in standard production but fully supported for play. Noble Knight carries used and out-of-print Hordes materials across all editions, from the original Privateer Press metal sculpts through the later plastic kits, which are a strong source for players and collectors building or completing older faction armies.
