Description

KRAVAT is an Unsanctioned Expansion Re_Skin Hack of CY_BORG.

It's a TTRPG satire of libertarian excesses and mandatory freedoms. It has the rules, an original setting, new equipment, 10 Factions vying for power and control, an extensive bestiary, a bunch of drugs (power-ups), a whole questline and a ton of side quests, a dungeon, random encounters and a story that takes into account player's choices!

"There's a place [...] for games to hold a mirror up to society and to critique it through satire."

No Quest for the Wicked, Session 0 playing KRAVAT

TownCity is a walled city-state that has thrived for more than a century as a metropolis of analog tech and pure libertarian protectionism.

Order is maintained through a cruel and efficient ritual. Every two weeks, it drafts a group of citizens into Civil Service, now known as Conscripts.

You've just been drafted. You knew this was coming, as this is the price of citizenship. Your collateral has been seized and their life is tied to your performance. In exchange, the city gives you a red KRAVAT, a marker of your status. You are given Civil Tasks to accomplish and tools to accomplish them, but a Conscript can only do so much for the City before they break, and every choice has consequences...

Early iterations of the Civil Service program were plagued by failure and a lack of motivation. Tasks were neglected and many Conscripts chose personal interests over civic duty.

In response, the Founders passed The Bonus Incentive Amendment: TownCity will take one loved one as Collateral for every active Conscript. If the assigned tasks are not completed, the collateral will be executed.

This brutal measure transformed the program’s effectiveness within a few conscription cycles, where success rates rose to 99.4%.

KRAVAT features an intense 20+ hours campaign covering the entirety of player's civil service with its final night culminating in a mysterious task that could topple the city's foundation; deciding which factions gets the rights to LOT 426. The campaign is designed as a choice-matters, multiple-ending, faction-heavy delve into TownCity inspired by the structure of Fallout: New Vegas.

The players are charged with deciding who should own the LOT 426, a coveted piece of real estate in the heart of TownCity. The Mayor will have to choose one of these proposals at tomorrow’s biweekly meeting. Unfortunately, he decided to get drunk tonight. In anticipation of his hangover, he instructed the C.S.B. to create a Crimson 5 assignment so that Conscripts could present only one project to accept by 09:00.

The final night will unfold in a drug fueled spiral of high stakes faction intrigue. It’s built as a make your own adventure, in which player choices are taken into consideration.

The book has everything to play right away and is clearly structured so no exhaustive prep time is needed!

Warning: KRAVAT is a game that deals with authoritarian regimes, corruption, abuse of power, extreme violence, drug use and children in potentially dangerous situations. It is intended for a mature audience with clear safety tools on hand (a safe word or X-Card).
