Description

Gryzzt Ghriss, the Great Immolator, is the Patron of Elemental Fire. His whispers are heard in the crackles, pops, and hissing of wet wood being purged of its moisture by the flames.

I know you. I can feel the raging fire within your soul. I see its power is ready to burn down everything around you. I can help you harness this power. You will genuflect before the Altar of Embers and you will realize your dreams.

Altar of Embers was originally designed as a leveling up montage for a wizard fixated on elemental fire. This short adventure can be played with a single PC determined to earn their spells at the Altar of Embers, or a party can be sent to destroy the Altar or its guardian, Irraht. This trifold pamphlet details 3 possible quest hooks, 7 encounter areas, 4 rumors, 4 whispers in the fire, and the guardian monster, Irraht. It is suitable for PCs levels 0-2. The adventure should take 1.5 - 2.5 hours to complete.

This is a great companion piece to The Stennard Courier Vol. 1, Sorcerous Rites of the Elements, and The Cleft in the Mangled Hills. It makes reference to the Stennard class, the Elementalist, which is a wizard focused on elemental spells. None of these publications are required to enjoy the adventure.
