Description

The game follows the basic rules of baseball. Players form their team using the supplied player discs. The player discs have lettered regions which corrispond to the actual batting statistics for that player. The team at bat puts the appropriate player disc under the spinner, spins, and reads off the resulting letter. If it is a hit, the opposing team spins their spinner and reads off the fielding letter to determine if the hit succeeds or is caught. Results (single, double, etc.) are recorded on the field using pegs for the base runners. Runs and outs per inning are tallied on rotating score board. Cumulative runs scored are tallied on paper score sheets. Strategy discs are included that enable plays like sacrifice flies, stealing bases, bunting, hit and run, etc. High score after 9 innings (or extra innings, if needed) is the winner.
