Review: One of the first board games I ever played. At the time I had no opponent and so played solo rules. These were a few pages which however used all the equipment and weapons in the multiplayer rules.I have served in the armed forces and so immediately related to the field craft feel of play which breaks things down to leg movement of each squad member.Players get a top down view of the squads options getting the percentage chance of success in movement, cover, posture and firing. And this is the dismounted play.Vehicles bring into play armour thickness, front, side, rear, weapons type, main and auxiliary, smoke generators and smoke grenades. The action is from a squad point of view where the main action as far as they are concerned takes place within a fifteen minute time frame.
Personally I would love to see a solo version only of the game reappear.
