Warlord (Blue Box)

Between two and seven players gather around the map board. They use their armies to attack each other. They acquire and explode bombs. By excelling at intrigue one player achieves total domination. The game works up to an apocalyptic conclusion.

One of the great strengths of Classic Warlord is the flexibility you have in choosing whether to play a quick or a longer game. The longest game uses all 8 boards that are provided, covering 600 regions in all of Europe and surrounding areas. But one can choose to take reduced combinations of these boards to focus on just 1 area of special interest or to have a quick game of an hour or so.

Class Warlord's unique method of attack requires intuition, daring, astuteness and flair.

Players bluff, counter bluff, anticipate, deceive, manipulate, mislead, support, trick and betray.

This 1978 Version differs from the original by having smaller map boards, sea-spaces, and 56 total cities.
