Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, Noble Knight Games specializes in both new and used tabletop games across all categories, including RPGs, board games, wargames, miniatures, historical miniatures, collectible card games, dice, supplies, and accessories. We purchase new items directly from hundreds of game publishers and distributors across the USA and internationally. Every pre-owned item we purchase is hand-inspected and graded by our experienced team using our detailed grading system. Noble Knight has been buying, selling, and trading used games since 1997, making us one of the most trusted sources for out-of-print and hard-to-find gaming products.

Noble Knight uses a detailed grading scale from Shrink Wrapped to Fair. Shrink Wrapped (SW) means factory sealed; the condition visible through the wrap is noted. Mint (M) means perfect, brand new condition. Near Mint (NM) means like-new with only the slightest wear. Excellent (EX) means lightly used, but almost like new, and may show very small spine creases or slight corner wear, but no tears or marks. Board and wargames in Excellent condition are considered punched unless noted as unpunched. Very Good (VG) means clearly used, complete, and usable. Fair means well-used but complete. Every item is hand-inspected and strictly graded. A dual grading system is used when the exterior differs significantly from the interior. For example, a boxed item may be graded with: 'box condition/contents condition' notation.

Absolutely! Noble Knight sells books (fiction and nonfiction), magazines and comics, in addition to board games, war games, miniatures and just about anything gaming or geek culture related. Just about anything printed could be sold at Noble Knight.

Noble Knight gets all of their printed material from manufacturers, distributors, author/artists, or from trade-ins from customers.

Noble Knight carries books and magazines in a wide variety of languages, including Spanish, French, German, Japanese, and many others. To make it easy to identify we also include the language of the item in the title, if an item is not in English.

There are a variety of methods we use to tell what printing a book or magazine is. For most books and magazines, it will state what printing or edition the item is on the copyright page. Another method is to look for printer's key or number line on the copyright page. For those, the lowest number listed indicates the printing.

For other items we will have to do a bit more research. Ultimately, we review the product, compare it to other versions of the same title, check online resources, or make our own best judgement based on our years of experience about what printing or edition an item is.

Noble Knight does do special orders of items that are still in-print and available. If we cannot make a special order, you could put the item on your want list. This will notify you with an email when the item is back in stock. A word of warning though, rare items may not stay in stock for long!

Noble Knight aims to have a very searchable database. We have over a million unique item listings, so it is helpful to narrow your search. Two of the simplest ways to look for similar items is to look at other items in the same product line as the item you enjoy. This will show items that are similar or maybe even in the same game system. Another option is to click on the genres that are listed on the page of the item you like. This will show all other items that have this same genre or tag.
