Description

One of the most famous aircraft in the history of flight, the “Spirit of St Louis” was built with a single aim in mind, to carry its intrepid pilot Charles Lindbergh on a first pioneering solo non-stop cross-Atlantic flight from New York to Paris. Completing the hazardous flight on 20th May 1927, Lindbergh secured his unique place in aviation history.
