Description

This book contains these articles:

1-6 Field Artillery "Centaurs"

Even though the U.S. Army is equipped with the MLRS, it is still equipped with self-propelled howitzers. The FA cannon battery is the firing element of the cannon battalion, and the M109A6 Paladin provides the firepower to the 1-6 FA cannon batteries. The mission of the Paladin is to destroy or neutralize the enemy by cannon fire in combined-arms operations.

German Artilleriebrigade 100 in Thuringer Lowe

The newly formed German Artilleriebrigade 100 was deployed in FTX Thuringer Lowe, a brigade size field training exercise. Concentrating all of the German army's artillery, surveillance and rocket artillery units, the brigade is one of the six brigades under the command of the HTrKdo. ArtBrig 100 has in its inventory MARS, Gepard, PzH 2000, M109A3 GE, Drohne and Luna drones, as well as recon vehicles and surveillance radars.

Belgian 7th Mechanized Brigade, the "Gallic" Brigade

The Gallic Brigade consists of regiments of armored infantry, tank and artillery. The Leopard 1A5 and AIFV form the backbone of the mechanized punch of the brigade, supported by M109A2 self-propelled howitzers and logistics vehicles like Bergepanzer and Leguan bridgelayer.

PLUS a 1/35 scale profile of AS90 in Operation "Telic" in Iraq.
