Commanders at the top of the hierarchy have an interesting role in the system. History is replete with accounts of expert tacticians choosing the proper moment to impact the battle. In Horse and Musket, a top commander can boost their subordinates ratings at certain points in the scenario. Knowing when to boost is critical, for the proper use of command points can turn a seemingly hopeless cause into an amazing victory.
