Role Playing Games

Role Playing Games have been at the core of Noble Knight's identity since we opened our doors in Wisconsin in 1997. We don't just sell RPG’s, we've spent nearly three decades buying, grading, and cataloging them. Our inventory spans everything from original printings of Dungeons & Dragons to last month's Kickstarter releases across literally hundreds of different RPG’s. Our team has personally assessed every used item that passes through our warehouse.

Whether you're a player looking to run your next campaign on a budget, a collector hunting a specific edition, or a Game Master filling gaps in a long-running game library, you'll find more options here than anywhere else online. We stock new releases alongside out-of-print classics, and our used selection is graded with a strictness that sets us apart.

Yes, Noble Knight Games specializes in both new and used tabletop games across all categories, including RPGs, board games, wargames, miniatures, historical miniatures, collectible card games, dice, supplies, and accessories. We purchase new items directly from hundreds of game publishers and distributors across the USA and internationally. Every pre-owned item we purchase is hand-inspected and graded by our experienced team using our detailed grading system. Noble Knight has been buying, selling, and trading used games since 1997, making us one of the most trusted sources for out-of-print and hard-to-find gaming products.

Noble Knight uses a detailed grading scale from Shrink Wrapped to Fair. Shrink Wrapped (SW) means factory sealed; the condition visible through the wrap is noted. Mint (M) means perfect, brand new condition. Near Mint (NM) means like-new with only the slightest wear. Excellent (EX) means lightly used, but almost like new, and may show very small spine creases or slight corner wear, but no tears or marks. Board and wargames in Excellent condition are considered punched unless noted as unpunched. Very Good (VG) means clearly used, complete, and usable. Fair means well-used but complete. Every item is hand-inspected and strictly graded. A dual grading system is used when the exterior differs significantly from the interior. For example, a boxed item may be graded with: 'box condition/contents condition' notation.

Noble Knight stocks one of the largest selections of out-of-print Dungeons & Dragons books available anywhere. You'll find original TSR-era modules and rulebooks from the 1970s-1990s, complete box sets from every edition, plus thousands of rare supplements and adventure modules no longer in print. Our website is fully searchable by edition, product type, author, and condition, with new arrivals added daily from our trade-in program.

Yes, D&D 5th Edition 2014 content is built to work with the 2024 Core Rules through 'backward compatibility.' Adventures like Curse of Strahd and Icewind Dale play smoothly with 2024 characters without modification. If running mixed character types, Wizards recommends using the 2024 rules consistently. Older character options work with the 2024 rules, with minor adjustments, and subclasses that previously started before 3rd level now begin at 3rd level. Noble Knight clearly labels products as 2014 or 2024 versions.

Pathfinder 1st Edition (2009-2019) and 2nd Edition (2019-present) are mechanically different systems, both set in Golarion. Pathfinder 1E is based on D&D 3.5 with extensive feat chains and complex multiclassing. Pathfinder 2E is a complete redesign with streamlined three-action economy, simplified math, and better class balance. 2E content is NOT compatible with 1E without conversion. Noble Knight stocks both editions and all Adventure Paths, rulebooks, and supplements, which also include many out-of-print 1E titles. Product listings clearly indicate the edition if the item is edition-specific.

Noble Knight stocks the World's Largest Selection of Games, and RPGs are no different. You can search by Publisher, System, or Setting on nearly any listing page on the site to narrow your search to a specific RPG.
