Description

Silbervogel is a manned spaceplane with the characteristics of a lifting body, which was invented by Germany during World War II in the American bomber project.

Since ballistic flight can bomb even the other side of the earth, this aircraft, which is also called an antipodal bomber, ended with only a plan without realistic assumptions such as structure and operation.

However, the US and the Soviet Union, which focused on the concept of a winged spacecraft capable of maneuvering like an airplane at low altitude, brought back the technology created by this plan after World War II, and are still under research and development. It is sublimated into a hypersonic gliding missile.

Models & Model Kits are supplied unpainted and unassembled unless otherwise noted.
