September, 1779 - Spain has entered the American Revolutionary War and has secretly planned a campaign to conquer West Florida from the British. After quickly capturing Fort Bute and some other small posts, Bernardo de Galvez has arrived at Baton Rouge where the British have constructed a large redoubt. The Spanish army is large but contains untrained troops and many are sick from the heat. The Spanish need a glorious victory and think Galvez is their man. The British are prepared to vigorously defend the fort. The stage is set...

The Battle of Baton Rouge is a low to moderate complexity tactical game covering the Spanish attack against the British redoubt at Baton Rouge in 1779 during the American Revolutionary War. The game takes 90 minutes to play. One player commands the Spanish forces and the other player commands the British forces.
