Description

Forts & Frontiers is a historical roleplaying game based on the Dungeons & Dragons Systems Reference Document 5.1. It allows GMs and players to experience 17th and 18th century North America from the diverse and often conflicting perspectives of the people of the time: British, French, and other European settlers; Wendat Haudenosaunee, and other Northeastern Woodland tribes; those striving to create new ways of life; and those striving to preserve the existing ways.

This adventure is set in the 17th century New France (modern-day Canada). It is a quickstart introduction to the key concepts and new rules of Forts& Frontiers. As such, it goes into much more detail than subsequent adventures will. This is done to provide GMs new to the system and setting a clear idea of how to run a Forts & Frontiers adventure.

Forts & Frontiers is about exploration, not expertise. We are by no means experts on the period. You don’t need to be either. In fact, everything you need to know can be found in this adventure. An explanation of new rules, pre-generated characters complete with backstories, historical background, maps and illustrations, and much more - it’s all here.

So prepare to go back in time for the adventure of a lifetime as two cultures collide against the breathtaking backdrop of the Northeastern Woodlands.
