Command Decision - Test of Battle (4.1 Edition)

For twenty years, Command Decision has been the standard against which all other World War II games have been measured. This new edition of Command Decision: Test of Battle has been edited for clarity but the rules themselves remain unchanged. Scenarios and some organizational information has been removed to make for a more compact and affordable rules package. All data charts and many organizations, as well as optional rules, are available as free downloads from the Test of Battle games web page.

What is it that sets Command Decision apart from other games and has made it the industry standard for over twenty years? What do you want from a World War II game? If you’re like them, you want one which faithfully reproduces the actual tactics of World War II units, accurately rates the weapons used, and gives some real historical insight into the units that fought for the different powers – fairly covering both their strengths and weaknesses. But you also want a game. You want sensible rules, clearly presented, that are easy to understand, easy to use, and easy to remember while playing. And you want something you can play to conclusion with a friend in two or three hours. If that’s what you want, then you are really going to like this game.
