Description

A snow-white Gothic castle looks like it came from the fantasies of Mad King Ludwig. This dice tower will, definitely, impress everyone with its graceful battlements and spires, the astronomical clock and the gears of the hoisting mechanism; the Castle has the yard covered with a green carpet and a knight's coat of arms over the gates.

A mechanical dice tower White Castle will help you to make honest and neat roll of the dice. This dice tower is best suited for tabletop games in medieval and fantasy worlds, especially for war games with miniatures; but it can be used in any board game where you have to throw dice. The lever-turret not only throws dice inside the tower but also activates the movable elements on the front side: in the lancet windows and at the roof of the Castle the residents and defenders appear and the portcullis goes in up position.

The White Castle dice tower’s feature is an adjustable speed of the throw. The cubes can be placed on the top platform, after pressing the lever the dice start their thundering journey through the depths of the tower and then popping out randomly; the Castle has a nice small patio with a fence that helps to keep all the dice in one place. The speed of the throw is adjusted by the rotating gear wheel on the wall of the tower: from Rapidus (fast) position to Quietus (slow) and vice versa.

The tower is made of high density fiberboard (HDF); the outer side is covered with white lamination and engraved images of masonry, windows, trees, lifting mechanisms. The kit includes a small rug that muffles the sound of popped out dice; you can place the cubes or miniatures on a decorative balcony.

Note that the item is sold unassembled. The kit includes detailed assembly instruction; assembling doesn’t require glue, however, if you wish to glue all the parts together, most common glues like PVA would be okay.
