Description

An Introduction to the Strategy and Tactics of Postal Diplomacy was written by Larry Peery and includes an introduction by William Buchanan, the founder and original publisher of the Diplomacy World fanzine. It was intended to help new players and veterans alike gain a better understanding of postal Diplomacy and claims to be the first book written on the game of Diplomacy.

At the time Larry was one of the most prolific publishers and writers of postal Diplomacy variants and games. The book contains 7 chapters covering each of the nations in the Diplomacy game.

Included with the large 376 page book are three smaller book:

  • Learning Unit Ten - Introduction to Strategy
  • Learning Unit Six - The Pre Game
  • Working Draft - Learning Units 1-11

All 3 of smaller books are unnumbered and contain a series of tasks and questions that are intended to help a person become more familiar with every aspect of the Diplomacy game. All 3 appear to be rough drafts of books that may or may not have been mass produced.
