Prowler of the Abyss #3

In the depths of the chasms, where the earth is torn into sharp peaks, where heat and light are distant memories, and where the piercing cries of the demons resonate, lair the most hideous creatures that the Despot has created.

A disparate heap of corpses, these dreadful monsters are adapted to survival in the hostile environment of the Abyss. Their inferior limbs are made of arms ripped from their enemies and then grafted onto a corpse. The monster thus created is an abominable parody of the Centaur. The demoniac spirit that inhabits their bodies makes them move in grotesque and anguishing motions. Behind their squat and massive appearance hide very mobile and brisk monsters. They are thus able to climb the steepest walls and jump over wide chasms. Quick and agile, they are the guardians of the Abyss, the deepest and darkest of the earth’s innards. In these cavernous corners hide the tortured spirits of the demons when the body they possessed is destroyed. The Prowlers guard these demons that wander in the dark. They rarely leave the depths of the earth, but when the Despot decides to send them on a mission at the surface, they prove very zealous and efficient servants.

The three Prowlers of the Abyss are gifted with the Leap Ability. This allows them to jump into the middle of the enemy ranks to sow terror. Additionally, each one benefits from different characteristics and from particular Abilities such as War fury and Implacable, which give them a specific usefulness in combat. The Prowlers are creatures born for carnage and their proximity to the demons has driven them completely mad.
