Lightning Express is early family board game from Milton Bradley. The exact publish year is unknown but it is believed to have been made before World War II.
The game has a train theme and uses a roll and move mechanic while adding some chips to the mix. Most of the chips represent passengers while the red ones represent a "red light" preventing a player from moving. The idea is to collect more passengers than your opponent.
This is a rare game and certainly a part of "modern" board game history.
