Alone and near death after an encounter with several stormclaw scorpions, Remy collapses with his package at his side, undelivered. When he awakes, he is in the company of a band of adventurers led by Biri-Daar, a dragonborn paladin of Erathis whose wariness of Remy’s magical cargo is outweighed by an oath sworn to the Knights of Kul, the ancient guardians of a time passed.

Duty bound, each sworn to a task, the two must combine interests to withstand the nefarious forces keeping them from their goals. As destinies coalesce, our heroes find themselves to be the linchpin of a centuries-old struggle between madness and civilization.
