American Battlelines

American BattleLines is a complete regimental and battalion level rule system covering the wars fought in North America between 1775 and 1865. These include the Revolutionary War, War of 1812, Texas War of Independence, Mexican-American War, and American Civil War.

Based around the innovative Drop-InT Game System, American BattleLines is built around a solid and easily learned core set of rules. This player-friendly approach provides the perfect balance between historical accuracy and playability, while at the same time allowing players to grow into the game at their own pace. By utilizing the same terms and game mechanics, the addition of new Drop-Ins is accomplished without the need to learn a whole new set of rules.

In American BattleLines, a unit's effectiveness is based upon three criteria. These include Morale Level, Disorder Level, and Ammunition Level. As the game progresses, a variety of factors may contribute to the gradual reduction of these levels. And with nothing more than a few counters, this simple and exciting system mirrors the unpredictability that was found on the actual fields of battle.

Within you will find Drop-Ins for command and control, morale, artillery (including counter battery), structures and fortifications, cavalry, skirmishing, unusual weapons, and more! In addition, American BattleLines contains a variety of scenarios, orders of battle, troop quality tables, and a very extensive weapons table.

Designed to work with miniatures 6mm and up, there is nothing else required to play in literally any figure scale. And, with a very flexible basing system, there is no need to rebase figures from existing figure collections.
