Review: Back in the days of first edition AD&D, this book walked hand in hand (or paw in paw) with the Monster Manual. A perfect supplement for adding even more unique monsters to a DM's repetoire, the illustrations are crisp and detailed, even for black and white. The alphabetical listing helps find stats on particular monsters quickly and easily. Being a hardcore 1st edition player (the only true version of AD&D, in my opinion...), I recommend this to all who still play classic AD&D, and along with the Players Handbook, DM's Guide, and Monster Manual, old-school players will have all they need to begin their adventures.
