Mob Ties: The Board Game is a direct assault on your strategic abilities. You have to negotiate, make power plays and dodge the feds. Don't forget, time is against you also. Make the deals, remove your opponents and try like hell to keep your hands on your pieces and your money. Respect and money win the game, but it takes planning to come out on top. 100 Favor Cards
Mob Ties is a game for 3 to 6 players and generally takes 45 minutes to 2 hours to play depending on experience level and number of players. Each player starts the game with their mobster pieces, a little money and a number of favor cards. The object of the game is to be the player with the most respect level from their pieces combined with cash on hand for the highest cash value at the end of the game.
To accomplish this goal, each player uses his/her favors to remove opponent pieces, rob other players of their cash sources and protect himself from other players and feds. In addition to this, each player must control locations on the board ("rackets") in order to gain cash, cards (in the case of the Don's Mansion) or possibly a clue in on where the feds will be cracking down (your option at the Diner). It's a lot to think about, but use your pieces wisely and you can pull it off.
