In the spring of 1944, two equally matched opponents face each other over the jungles and mountains of northern Burma. During the spring and summer, three independent, but simultaneous dramas unfolded. In the west, the Japanese launched and all-out offensive to capture Imphal and open the gateway into India. In the center, the Chindits landed in the Japanese rear area to launch Ord Wingate's special operations campaign against Japanese communications. In the east Chinese and US forces advanced toward Myitkyina against stubborn Japanese defenses. The battles took place in horrible terrain under the most difficult conditions imaginable with troop ranging from the world's best to the world's worst.

Burma is a re-issue of the 1999 Gamers Operational Combat Series game on these battles. Long out of print, this sought after 1999 Charles S. Roberts Best World War II Game Award winner is prized by owners who are envied by those trying to find copies. This is the complete original game with known errata corrected and upgraded to be played with the 2007 OCS v4.0 rules.
