The Duelist Genesis (TDGS) introduced Tuner monsters, the Synchro Summon mechanic and Psychic Type monsters. It also was the first time players could sometimes find both a Rare and possibly a Super Rare, Ultra Rare, Secret Rare or Ghost Rare in the same pack. Highly sought after cards include: Hand of the Six Samurai, Charge of the Light Brigade, Goyo Guardian, Red Dragon Archfiend, Thought Ruler Archfiend and Stardust Dragon.
