Tactical Evolution (TAEV) introduces a new category of monsters, Gemini, as well as a new mechanic: Second Summon. It also introduces a new rarity above Ultimate Rare, called a "Ghost Rare." There is an appearance of "Venom" cards, which improves on the Reptile Type. There are also more Elemental Hero support cards and monsters, as well as new Neo-Spacians, Alien and Cyberdark monster and support cards.
