This series of games covers a variety of periods and topics, currently including the American Civil War, Napoleonic Wars, and World War II. The system uses an Activation Marker mechanic to create uncertainty as to which units will activate next, making the games quite suitable for solitaire play. The low complexity of the series' move/fight mechanics keeps play flowing easily, while still offering considerable insight into each game's battles as well as the armies that fought them.
