This popular tactical series showcases key battles of the 17th Century in Europe. The game system focuses on Command and Control and the interactions of combined arms warfare. Armies are divided into wings, each with its own orders that govern what types of actions that wing may perform in a given game turn. The game pieces represent infantry brigades, cavalry regiments, and artillery batteries. Rules include much period flavor, including cavalry charges, the use of pistols in skirmishes, artillery grazing fire, salvo fire, and more! Play is highly interactive, but still very solitaire-friendly. Most battles can be finished in one sitting.
