The Dark Realms Epic Adventure Game is an easy to learn role-playing game where one player assumes the role of the Realm Master and guides a group of players, with their fictional characters, through an ongoing campaign of quests and adventures. Through this gaming process the players get to develop and advance their characters and together, the Realm Masters and players get to unfold and experience an evolving interactive epic adventure story. The players will develop their characters’ personalities and build grand stories around their adventuring exploits and the Realm Master will get to develop an entire fictional world and see it unfold and evolve as the player characters experience it and change it through their adventures.

The Dark Realms Epic Adventure game system has been designed to be both extremely simple to learn and flexible to adapt and expand to meet the growing needs of Realm Masters and players as their own gaming experiences grow. The game system is completely playable with just these game rules, a six sided die and an active participation from the Realm Master and players. Born out of the merger of two of the Guild of Blades’ earlier games (the W.H.A.T.? Customizable RPG and the Dark Realms RPG Universe), the Dark Realms Epic Adventure Game captures of the best of both, with its easy to learn and adaptable system and its epic and far reaching universe setting, allowing the game to be played in a multitude of settings and genres.
