Nothing shakes the faith of a pacifist like squealing kobolds. They're annoying little beasts, sneaking around to steal and pick pockets, trip and distract, and if possible swarm and devour the careless. Kobolds run wild where giants once dwelled, wearing great cups for helmets and huge forks for tridents. A respectable adventurer would pass them by, but they've accumulated enough treasure that it just might be worthwhile rooting them out.
