Here they are the pride of England, the County regiments of the Line Infantry. Over fifty Regiments served in the Crimea, setting out with great pomp and splendor to take on the Russian bear, and this is how we portray our men, well dressed, well drilled and advancing magnificently in March attack...It wasn't to last long
The Centre companies, of which there were six in a Battalion, formed the bulk of the line, with the two flank companies. They are identified by small epaulets on the shoulders. Some we have modelled in Albert Shakos, some in the more comfortable Forage cap, either of which is acceptable for the early period, or indeed you can mix them in units too.
This set provides you with:
A four man Command consisting of an Officer, two Standards and a Drummer An eight man Flank Company with Shakos A twenty man Centre Company with Shakos
Models are metal and supplied unpainted.
