Tsolyani is the creation of Prof. M.A.R. Barker of the University of Minnesota, one of the languages he created for his world of Tekumel. He created all these in the 1970s, and in the late 70's and early 80's, the world and its elements were used in a gaming system, The Empire of the Petal Throne, by TSR.
