Saviors of Kamigawa is the final expansion in the Kamigawa block that introduced the "Japanese/Spirit World" setting where kami (spirits) and samurai, along with other Japanese-influenced creature types, ran rampant.
In Saviors of Kamigawa, the war is coming to a close and the world is coming into the light after the darkness of Betrayers. Players are to enlist the aid of the greatest legends of Kamigawa to make sure they're on the winningside.
