As they approach your home, the evening wind carries their stench through the air. Your dog barks wildly, frenzied by the smell. You awaken from a restless sleep, look out your window and see staggering corpses on the move.
You are halfway down the stairs when you hear footsteps on the porch. You run into the living room and pry open your gun cabinet. As you fumble, the front door collapses from the weight of a pair of rotting corpses.
They shamble into the hall, arms outstretched, reaching for you. You unload your shotgun into them. They fall back.
To your horror, they rise ...
Welcome to the world of survival horror!

Review: AFMBE was a game I bought on a chance, which ended up being one of my favorite games.
The book itself is hard cover well organized and contains some good artwork that inspires what the game is about. Zombies!!!
The book opens with an introduction of Zombie myth, that leads into its debute into cinema, then puts you into the the crunch part of the rules (Character design, game play, etc.) which are presented in an easy to reference format allowing for quick and easy use.
AFMBE revised edition utilizes the Unisystem as its primary rule mechanics, but also has a supplementary appendix converting the book to d20 Modern rules.
The book covers nearly all of the different types of zombies seen in movies and video games, as well as some unique variants. From viral infect Resident Evil type zombies, to unkillable brain eating "Return of the Living Dead Zombies", to something with a cthulu feel you can find it here.
So for GMs who are looking to through some zombie horror into their games this book offers plenty of useful materials for two easy and flexible systems.
I highly recommend this book.
