LAWRENCE OF ARABIA is an operational-level game of the British offensive during September-October, 1918 against the Turks in Palestine. One player controls the Turkish-German-Bedouin forces, the other the British-French-Arab forces.
Scale is 1 or 2 days per turn. Units are batallions, regiments and brigades. Sequence of play includes a Cavalry Exploitation Movement and Combat phase, permitting cavalry/motorized British units to advance into the gaps of the Turkish line during the previous Infantry Combat phase.
The game has 4 scenarios, the full campaign, the full campaign with variable setup and two shorter scenarios. One 22"x34" map, about 250 counters.
Complexity is medium-low. This game was published in The Wargamer #24. This is the boxed version.
