Review: I admit, I love this CD for more than just playing Dungeons and Dragons. I've used it as a background mood setting music (as with all of their CD's) for reading Salvatore, Greenwood, Gygax, etc., as well as other non-D&D fantasy writers. This works for Conan novels too.
My favorite track is by far number 15, "Beasts of the Wizard" as it has that ominous forthcoming doom - sort of reminds me of the march of the Orcs in the Return of the King. Then I like track 20 "Army of the Dead" as this evokes thoughts of a horde of undead marching on a small town and razing it. Track 3 "Ride to Destiny" is one that I've used with my group on numerous occasions and it's a favorite. Finally I also suggest you give a listen to track number 17 "Lair of the Great Wyrm" and this one brings to mind the thought of a group of adventurers who foolishly invade the lair of a nasty red dragon.
Overall this is a great CD for even just putting on as background noise and conducting your work.
