With the rising popularity of Electronic Gaming Monthly, there became a steadily increasing demand for tips, tricks, and guides for the hottest games on the market, even though which weren't necessarily popular or mechanically deep enough to have their own strategy guide published. Enter EGM2, a spin-off magazine dedicated to giving more power in the hands of gamers, for all major platforms of the time.
