Chieftain (GDW Master Library Copy)

Chieftain provides a complete array of British equipment and maneuver units, from Chieftain and Challenger tanks through MCV-80 and Saxon APCs. Not only are the well-equipped forward elements presented, but the light security elements that form BAOR's vital reinforcements are included as well. Chieftain also presents the Netherlands Army, with its uniquely organized and equipped units. Accompanying aviation and engineering assets link Chieftain directly to Bundeswehr and Boots & Saddles.

This copy is marked as being directly from the GDW Master library. The box, books, and maps are all stamped and the inner box lid has a components list as it was originally packaged. Interestingly, the maps have been laminated and the counters are clipped showing that the game was actually used in play, though it is unclear if that was the play of GDW employees or a later owner.
