Destroyed Valentine

Though skirmishes where enemies randomly encounter each other are common, most major battles are fought over specific objectives that are pivotal to the plans of both armies.

The objectives of a given engagement or campaign can vary widely – spanning from control of a bridge or harbor, to recovery of a supply depot or disabled tank, to the capture of an enemy commander or headquarters.

In Flames Of War, most missions require each player to have two objectives. While it is sometimes easier to simply use a spare large base, a custom made objective themed to match the rest of an army can really stand out on the tabletop.

The Destroyed Valentine objective is ideal for use as an objective marker for any nation that fought in the campaign in North Africa during either Early-war or Mid-war.

Remember, objective markers do not count as terrain regardless of what is modeled on the base. They do not hinder movement or provide concealment or bulletproof cover, nor do they block Line of Sight. They are simply scenic markers to indicate the importance of this point to the combatants.
