Dwarfstar Games, a division of Heritage USA, arrived on the gaming scene with a splash at the 1981 Origins gaming convention. Dwarfstar raised the bar for "microgame" graphics and components. The Dwarfstar games featured cardstock mapboards and die-cut counters.
